We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Petrified Forest National Park. We did four short trails. We started doing a 1 mile rim walk along the Painted Desert which had wonderful vistas. The Blue Mesa was next and was stunning at 8:30 am. There is a steep section which means an uphill trek on the way out but not so bad this 60 year old couldn’t do.
